MISSION

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of SEA is an alliance of leaders across sectors advancing Social Enterprise to benefit our communities. Emerging and Established leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area meet to support each other, exchange learning and resources, and be part of the conversation.
Our mission is to take a purposeful, inclusive, and innovative approach to convening leaders from all sectors, ages and stages with the objective of addressing 3 areas of focus:

1. Cross-sector collaboration:  sectorial and technological divides,
2. Inter-generational collaboration: gaps between experienced and emerging practitioners,
3. Relations with local and state governments: social enterprise policies and advocacy.

We are an official chapter of Social Enterprise Alliance, the largest network of social enterprises in North America with a 14-‐year history of field leadership, a national network of nearly 1,000 members, and a local footprint of 13 chapters in 11 states. Members include top practitioners, leading thinkers, investors, public policy leaders and a wide range of service providers.
