Social Enterprise Pitch Night

November 17th, from 6:00-8:00 PM

Join a friendly group of established and emerging leaders passionate about Social Enterprise. This is a great opportunity to pitch your idea, hear about some of the most innovative projects coming out of the Bay Area, and share your insights and encouragement - to help these ideas take off!
This event will be held at our exciting new office space located at 144 2nd Street (near Mission St.) in downtown SF. During this meeting, members will elect new chapter officers and directors, then enjoy an exciting evening of social enterprise start-up ideas and innovations.
Be ready for an inspiring showcase of social enterprise ideas. After the presentations we will have time to network and further share insights and conversation.
Bring your colleagues and friends! All perspectives are welcomed! Put your thinking cap on, and bring your learning spirit to support our fantastic local social enterprises!  Together we build and grow social enterprise in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Who is Jed Emerson?
Jed Emerson has a long history in the field of social enterprise and impact investing, all of which started right here in the Bay Area. He was founding director of both the Larkin Street Youth Center and REDF; has held faculty appointments at Harvard and Stanford Business Schools, and a visiting fellowship at Oxford’s Said Business School. He coined the concept of Blended Value a decade ago and has written extensively on the topic since that time (http://www.blendedvalue.org/).
