May Social Enterprise Networking Night
Professionals, practioners and curious souls gathered on May 24th in San Francisco to meet and exchange ideas at the Social Enterprise Alliance Mixer. Organizations such as Project Happiness, CVE and Centro Community Partners, among others, participated in what was a diverse and lively conversation.

Jed Emerson has a long history in the field of social enterprise and impact investing, all of which started right here in the Bay Area. He was founding director of both the Larkin Street Youth Center and REDF; has held faculty appointments at Harvard and Stanford Business Schools, and a visiting fellowship at Oxford’s Said Business School. He coined the concept of Blended Value a decade ago and has written extensively on the topic since that time (http://www.blendedvalue.org/).
